Message from the CCSD 46 Board of Education
The CCSD 46 Board of Education strongly condemns the defacement of the Juneteenth Community Flag which was a collaborative art creation at the culmination of the inaugural Juneteenth Celebration Walk in Grayslake on Monday, June 19th.
The beauty of Grayslake is rooted in its incredible diversity, rich in its ethnic, cultural, social, intellectual, and community fabric. We respect and embrace everyone, and destruction of symbols of our common humanity are inconsistent with the values that make us Grayslake.
We encourage our community to reject such actions and to continue to learn about, support, and value our large and amazing human family.
Dr. Stephen Mack
President
Board of Education

Dr. Stephen Mack
Presidente
Consejo de Educación
