Dear CCSD 46 Community,
At this time, we anticipate that all schools, except for Grayslake Middle School, should be ready for onsite learning on Wednesday. Of course, it is too soon to confirm onsite learning at any school, and we will keep you apprised of the status of schools for Wednesday.
At GMS, however, we continue to have issues with the heat and subsequent water issues from frozen pipes. This means that even if the rest of the schools can open for onsite learning on Wednesday, it will not be possible to open GMS. Regrettably, it seems likely that GMS will do e-learning through at least Thursday, if not through the end of the week.
Tomorrow, GMS and all other schools will follow the schedules previously shared. GMS administration will provide families with the schedules to be used for GMS students on Wednesday (Late Start, and then a full schedule) and later in the week.
As a reminder, whether schools are onsite or doing e-Learning, Wednesday is a regularly scheduled Late Start day.

En este momento, anticipamos que todas las escuelas, a excepción de Grayslake Middle School, deben estar listas para el aprendizaje en las escuelas el miércoles. Por supuesto, es demasiado pronto para confirmar el aprendizaje en el aula en cualquier escuela, y le mantendremos informado de la situación de las escuelas para el miércoles.
